The legendary Airmotel is transforming into Hiisi Homes & Hotel Nummela following an extensive renovation scheduled for the winter of 2026–27
The accommodation units and associated facilities will be completed in phases. The restaurant is set to open in the spring of 2027, operated by an independent restaurateur.
The first rooms are scheduled to be ready for guests in early December 2026,
while the remaining rooms, apartments, and communal areas are planned for completion by the end of April 2027.
Any potential disturbance during the phased completion will be minimized.
The renovation area is clearly cordoned off, ensuring that interior renovation work is neither visible nor audible during the evening and night.
Renovation work in other wings of the hotel will be scheduled so that noisy tasks take place during the day, ensuring a good night’s sleep for guests.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Keyless and contactless arrival with door codes.
No reception or breakfast available.
Arrival instructions will be sent by email and SMS latest 30 minutes prior to arrival.
Arrival time: From 16:00
Departure time: Until 11:00
Early arrival and late departure available with advance booking at least one day prior to arrival or departure.
Early arrival is available for 10 € until 15:00 and 20 € until 14:00.
Late departure is available for 10 € from 15:00 and 20 € from 14:00.

Legendary airport motel built in the 1970s operates as a cozy and modern hotel right next to the Nummela Airport from the winter of 2026-27. Conveniently located just a stone’s throw from the Nummela city center surrounded by nature and hiking trails, the hotel offers reasonably priced accommodation for those who want to spend their money on the essentials, i.e. experiences outside the four walls or at home with friends and family.

Standard Room with 2 single beds is a comfy room for up to 2 persons. Quality beds guarantees a good night sleep. Standard Rooms with 2 single beds feature a work desk and chair as well as a flat-screen tv.
Room has all it takes for homelike living except for kitchen. In-room dining is enabled featuring amenities like fridge. All rooms have free wifi. Rooms are not air-conditioned but tower fan is provided.
Public areas feature facilities for self-dining and never stress about a wrinkled shirt since iron and ironing board may be found from the public areas.
