Hiisi Art
Early 2020s, the young artistic talent Ekku Meronen worked at Hiisi. At that time, Ekku studied graphic design and at the same time worked in a variety of jobs as a Hiisi Homie. In addition to work and studies, Ekku created wonderful artworks for Hiisi in digital format and the idea was to initially create four different poster boards depicting the soul landscape of Hiisi to bring color and depth to what Hiisi has to offer. With the help of the poster boards, we wanted to also get a touch of our hometown Vihti on the spot. The boards were created in collaboration, the themes of the display are water, meadow, rock and sky. All themes are inspired by Vihti and, to a certain extent, the vicinity of Nummela in Vihti, where the founders of Hiisi are from and the head office is still in Nummela.
For years, Ekku worked at Hiisi, and all the visual appearance is in order from Ekku’s pen. Ekku is a real diamond and we warmly recommend Ekku if you are looking for a graphic designer or illustrator.
Rock
The birth of Hiisi culminates in the Kokkokallio. Kokkokallio in English means a bonfire rock. On top of the majestic Kokkokallio in the autumn of 2017, the founders of Hiisi, Ari, Markus and Niklas, knocked their wooden heads together and Hiisi was born. The magnificent Hiidenvesi Lake loomed in the background.
Water
Kokkokallio is a popular outdoor recreation destination in Nummela, Vihti, and offers stunning views of Lake Hiidenvesi. Lake Hiidenvesi is an iconic Vihti recreation paradise and an important body of water for all Hiisi Homies.
Meadow
The meadows of Enäranta welcome motorists to Nummela. Our road took us to the edge of the meadows, as the head office is located on the other side of the meadow. The windows of the head office offer a magnificent meadow and field landscape with a glimpse of Lake Enäjärvi.
Sky
Imagine yourself on Kokkokallio at sunset. Gaze up towards the horizon. Feel the sun caressing the horizon. Could there be a better moment?
Remote reception
When the first Hiisi hotel was added to the portfolio, Ekku produced stunning poster boards suitable for our hotels.
